Blommeskobbel

Blommeskobbel, is a forest on the board of the "Lille Belt", about four kilometres south of Fynshav. In the woods exist a unique collection dolmens. Two big grave-mounds are laying close ton each other. The first is 53 meter long, de second measures 34 meter. Both long borrows have two grave chambers. Nearby you can find two round hills, which include a dolmen.

The biggest long barrow resembles "Hunebed D43" at Schimmeres in Drenthe in the Netherlands;
this shows clearly Funnel Beaker Culture was reaching from Drenthe to Denmark.

During restoring in 1935 en 1936, chambers where opened and investigated. Only a few stone knives where found, the chambers have been robbed long before.

About 75-meter south in the forest lay the remains of another grave-mound. Near the forest, direction west, you can find another long barrow that remains two stone chambers.
