Grave-mounds

The northwest of Jütland is full of grave-mounds. Some of them are from megalithic origin, but most of them are not much older than 2500 year.

Fyrkat - Viking burrow

An interesting place to "pick-up on the road" is the Viking burrow in Fyrkat.  Over here much more is visible than in the Viking Burrow of Aggersborg. Near Fyrkat is the "Vikingecenter", a reconstruction of the Viking Age.
