Two of those are standing on the sites east-west ax. The biggest rock is split. They say that through the split midwinter sunrise shows...

In front of the hill several smaller stones forming a circle. For many this circle is seen as a cromlech.
Archaeologist mean that is isn't a megalithic monument. Probably it is an old sacral place.

A legend tells that the stones are the remains of a who refused to give water to a pilgrim (Jesus), he was punished and transformed in stone, together with his dogs and sheep...

'Le menhir de Lahérie' - Longlier
'Le menhir de Lahérie' - Longlier

In Longlier, a community of Neufchâteau, this white quarts stone is exposed, nearby 'Place du Faubourg', on the corner of 'Rue du Chaufour'.

The stone was excavated in 1969, in a nearby place called 'Lahérie'.

Height: 2m70,  large: 1m20, profound 70 cm.

No more acknowledged as megalith.

Other remarkable stones in the Province Luxemburg

Megalith???'Dolmen' in Gomery (Bleid - Virton), unsure it is a real dolmen, but it isn't a natural formation.

No megalith! 'Dolmen' in Bonnert, near Arlon.

No megalith!The 'semi-dolmen in Azy' near Chassepiere is actually seen as a natural rock formation.

No megalith!La pierre Saint Hubert - Waha (Marche-en-Famenne). A +- 3m40 large block white chalkstone, supported by two smaller stones. Probably the three stones once formed a unity.

Real megalith! DISAPPEARED!  In Jemeppe (near Harigmont) once where 2 dolmen. The biggest was 15 meter large.
Some people that those dolmen where standing in line whit the dolmen in Lamsoul (Province Namur) and the Waha stones.
