This 3 meters high raw sandstone is standing in the middle of a swamp.
 The irregular form is natural from origin.

"Pierre-à-Chavattes" or "Dolmen du Bois",
Upon a hill, the badly restored remains of a passage tomb.

Lécluse

"La Pierre du Diable" or "the Devil's Stone"
 This broken standing stone is dominating the right bank of the river "La Sensée".
His height of 3m20 made it the highest standing stone in the region.

Originally this standing stone measured a height about 4m90, alas it broke into two peaces during the First World War.
Whit another meter under ground this sandstone megalith was once almost 6 meter large. 
The standing stone originate Late Neolithic, Early Bronze Age.

Sailly-en-Ostrevent

"Les Sept Bonnettes" or "The Seven Beauties"
A stonecircle upon a 5 meter high man-made hill.

In origin the monument was built up whit 6 stone in a circle around a central stone.
Actually only five sandstones, 80 to 90 cm high, are still standing, the central stone in disappeared.

Remarkable are the protruding tops, may be they once supported a wooden construction.
Earlier this monument was also called "Signal aux Feux" (Fire Signal). Possibly Druids made signal-fires over here. The monument is dated as early Bronze Age, but it also can be originated in the Iron Age.
